Class A CDL Training – 5 Week Course
Professional Truck Driver Program for Ohio Class A CDL
You can become a professional truck driver in just 5 weeks and earn up to $50,000 in your first year. Our CDL training is based on industry standards. The full-time Class A driver training program includes 80 hours of classroom instruction, plus 120 hours of hands-on, behind-the-wheel training. Classroom, field, and road training are completed at the school training grounds with experienced driving instructors. Students will participate in extensive practice driving on a specially prepared driving range and on local highways and city streets with a qualified driving instructor. This course prepares students for entry-level employment in the transportation industry.
Program Length: 5 weeks (200 clock hours)
Class Schedule: The full-time CDL program classes are held Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm for 5 weeks. Part-time, weekend classes are also available.
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old to enroll. Admissions Representatives will cover all admissions policies and entrance requirements.

What Will I Learn in the 5-Week Course?
The full-time CDL course at Napier Truck Driver Training includes:
- State traffic laws
- Accident reporting and safety responsibility laws
- Logbook instruction
- Maneuvering the vehicle
- Pre-trip inspection
- Safe driving practices
- “On the road driving” with in-cab instruction.
Do I Need My CDL Permit Before I Start?
No. Our staff will spend a considerable amount of time assisting students to obtain their permit during classroom instruction. During your first two weeks of training, our staff will walk right alongside you as you get your CDL permit. On the first Thursday of your weekday classes, students are tested on all 6 exams. We make sure our students graduate with all of their endorsements and this is what sets us apart from other schools.
